2019 Q1 Total Foreign Trade in Chengdu Reached RMB123.82B

    On April 15, 2019, Chengdu Customs released news about Sichuan's foreign trade in the first quarter of 2019. For the first three months of the year, Sichuan's import and export in goods totaled RMB146.02 billion, rising by 25.1% compared with the same period last year. Of which, Chengdu's total foreign trade soared year-on-year by 21% to RMB123.82 billion. The Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone recorded import and export of RMB90.82 billion, which ranks highest among all bonded zones in the country and equates to a YoY surge of 26%, contributing to 16% of growth in foreign trade in Sichuan Province and accounting for a whopping 62.2% in the province's total foreign trade.
