Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Establishes Partnership with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre

On January 7, 2020, the 4th China-UAE Conference on Islamic Banking and Finance (CUCIBF IV) was held in the Center for China-Europe Cooperation of Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. After nearly half year’s joint efforts, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone officially built a partnership with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and both sides signed a memorandum of cooperation at the conference.

DMCC has been rated by Financial Times FDI as “the world’s best free zone” for 4 years in a row. The partnership established this time will strengthen the cooperation of the two sides in international exchange, enterprise contacts, diversified finance, trade, innovation services, among other fields.

Both sides will discuss the proposal to construct an international park named “Chengdu-Dubai Financial Center” during the closing period of the conference.
