Pedestrian Blocks in Kuanzhai Alley Achieved a Turnover of RMB 987 Mln from January to October 2019

  Since February 2019, included in the renovation and upgrading pilot program for 11 pedestrian blocks by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China, Pedestrian Blocks in Kuanzhai Alley has been improved in many aspects, including restoring 50 courtyards within the blocks, refurbishing 150 stores along the streets, transforming the style of 6 streets including Zhijishi Street, adding more than 10 cultural IP micro-landscapes, and comprehensively renovating 1.7 km of river of Xijiao section. It is planned to optimize the compatibility of 111 businesses, and newly introduce more than 30 businesses of cultural innovation, the first restaurant of Meizhou Dongpo Group in southwest China, the national flagship store of Arabica Coffee, etc. With the construction completion of 5G network base stations, the Kuanzhai Alley Blocks launched the cloud platform for smart travelling, promoting the construction of smart management platforms and new consumption scenarios under 5G networks.
