China's First Underground Smart Bicycle Parking to Open in Chengdu
Recently, China's first underground smart bicycle garage located at A2, Niushikou Station, Chengdu Metro Line 2, and is expected to be put into use on December 6, 2018. The relevant person in charge of the Chengdu Construction Committee said that the underground garage consists of lifting device, rotating device and gripper structure. The storage frame is divided into 8 floors, with 28 parking spaces per floor, capable of parking 224 bicycles in total. The underground garage can be built into 8 to 12 floors according to the specific conditions. The garage only covers 6.8 square meters on ground. The garage is driven by a motor, and the power consumption costs only 0.05 yuan for one access.
