South African Police Arrived in Chengdu for International Police Affairs Exchange and Visit

In recent days, a delegation of 11 led by Commissioner of the South African Police Service of Northern Cape Province, arrived in Chengdu to begin the second season of 2018 South African police affairs advanced study program which is scheduled to span ten days. During their stay in Chengdu, the South African police officers visited the Special Police Unit of the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Public Security, Wuhou District Tongzilin Expat Service Center, firefighters of Tianfu New Area, Exit and Entry Reception Hall of the Municipal Bureau of Public Security, smart traffic command center of the traffic police, and combat training base of the Municipal Bureau of Public Security, and also spoke with chief leaders of the Municipal Bureau of Public Security about strengthening police affairs exchange and cooperation. At the meeting, the Chengdu Public Security introduced an overview of the city of Chengdu, conditions of work related to opening-up endeavors, and prominent outcomes achieved in Chengdu's effort of building a fully opened economic landscape and pursuit of the "three-step advancement" strategy. Thereafter, the Chengdu Public Security also introduced to the African visitors about the status of preparation of the city's hosting of the 2019 World Police and Fire Games, and extended invitation to the South African police to organize and send a group to partake in the friendly competition.
