Chengdu to Establish the Country's First China-Africa Trade Interaction E-Commerce Platform in June 2018

On January 16, 2018, the southwest China branch of the China WTO Africa Affairs Committee Trade Promotion Center was officially founded in Chengdu. The Sichuan capital thus become the center where southwest China, including areas such as Sichuan, Chongqing, Tibet, Guizhou and Yunnan, partakes in the future of Chinese-African cooperation and development. At the same time, Chengdu will also capitalize on its local resources such as the Internet industry and establish the first China-Africa trade interaction e-commerce platform in the country.
