Two Pandas Travel to Finland, Cutest "Diplomats" to Stay Abroad for 15 Years |  release time:January 17th,2018

  On January 17, 2018, "Hua Bao" and "Jin Bao Bao," two giant pandas from the Dujiangyan Mount Qingcheng base of the China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda, commenced their journey to Finland. The pair will arrive in Finland on January 18, 2018, and will live in the Ähtäri Zoo, the largest safari park in the country, for 15 years. In order to welcome the arrival of the giant pandas, the Ähtäri Zoo specially invested 8.2 million euros in the construction of a giant panda hall, which was designed by a renowned Australian architect. The giant panda hall occupies almost 6,000 square meters of space and will be divided into two main functional zones, namely the giant pandas habitat zone and visitors exhibition zone.
