Air China to Open Chengdu-Bangkok Direct Flight Starting Feb. 12, 2018

On February 12, 2018, Air China will begin flying a non-stop flight between Chengdu and Bangkok, adding another option to Chengdu's outbound tourism market for the Spring Festival holiday period. Including the aforesaid Chengdu-Bangkok route, Air China will have provided connections to 13 international (regional) cities from the Chengdu Airport. Air China's Chengdu-Bangkok flight, CA471/2, will take off from Chengdu and Bangkok once per day, on Airbus A321 jetliners and operated by the airline’s southwest China branch. Chengdu travelers can already fly to the Thai capital via five airlines--Thai Airways, China Eastern, Sichuan Airlines, Spring Airlines and Thai Lion Air. A total of 31 Bangkok-bound flights depart from Chengdu each week, averaging nearly 900 seats each day.
