China's First Civic Welfare Cultural Consumption Online Payment Platform Officially Launched in Chengdu

On January 30, 2018, the "Wenchuang Chengdu" mobile app, China's first civic welfare cultural consumption online payment platform, was officially launched. After downloading the "Wenchuang Chengdu" app and completing registration, citizens will then be awarded with ten cultural creativity points, with each point equating to one yuan. When user makes a payment, the system will first deduct points in user's account, with the balance to be paid via WeChat Wallet or Alipay. After a successful payment, users will even be treated with a reimbursement in points equal to 15% of the actual amount of the payment, which can then be spent for the next cultural consumption. Chengdu is a part of China's first batch of national cultural consumption trial cities, and through this innovative "Internet + finance" civic welfare cultural consumption model, Chengdu citizens will be endowed with even more flexibility, which in turn would stimulate interest in cultural consumption.
