13th Yangtze River Economic Belt Commerce Collaboration Annual Conference Held in Chengdu

On December 14, 2017, the 13th Yangtze River Economic Belt Commerce Collaboration Annual Conference was successfully held in Chengdu. The meeting was attended by heads of the Yangtze basin's branches of the Ministry of Commerce Special Commissioner's offices in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Chengdu and business and commerce governmental bodies in 24 cities including Shanghai, Chongqing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Hefei and Kunming. Revolving around the central theme of "sharing Yangtze River Economic Belt developmental opportunities in a new era", the delegates discussed the masterplan for commerce collaboration in the Yangtze River catchment area in the new era, together initiating the new journey of commercial development on the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It was proposed at the conference that the commerce system of the Yangtze River basin shall continue to embrace green, innovative, coordinated, opened and shared development, rely on the Yangtze’s golden watercourse, deepen practical cooperation between cities, develop new mechanisms for integrated development of city clusters, optimize industrial division of labor collaboration system, collaborate to build integrated market system and open system for the Yangtze River Economic Belt region, fully cultivate a collaborative commercial development community win a shared investment in collective prosperity across regions and a Chinese ecologically civilized economic model belt in the Yangtze basin.
