Panda Poop Tissue Paper Hit the Market, an Innovation in Green Chengdu Environmental Protection

On December 18, 2017, a cooperation agreement was officially signed between the China Conservation and Research Centre for the Giant Panda and Sichuan Qianwei Fengsheng Paper Limited Liability Company. The Research Centre will regularly ship off loads of panda feces and food remains to the papermaker, which then process them into various tissue paper products. These "panda poop paper tissues " have already hit the market. According to Zhou Chuanping, Vice General Manager of Qianwei Fengsheng Paper, substantial quantities of bamboo remains and animal excreta are produced from the three panda bases located at Dujiangyan, Ya'an and Wolong every month, and the company retrieves these paper-making materials once every three to seven days. These raw materials will be used to manufacture face tissue, toilet paper, paper handkerchief and other everyday paper products. It isn’t clear whether writing paper will be made these materials".
